Privacy Policy
Cashora Budget Tracking is built for simple personal income, expense, budget, and manual investment tracking. This policy explains what data the app may store and how that data is used.
Information Collected and Stored
The app may store financial records that the user enters manually:
- Income and expense descriptions
- Amounts, dates, and categories
- Investment asset name, type, quantity, purchase price, current price, and notes
- Monthly budget preference
- Currency and language preference
- Custom category records
- App lock preference
Where Data Is Stored
The current version is local-first. Transaction and investment records are stored on the user's device with SwiftData. Some app preferences are stored with UserDefaults.
This version does not include active iCloud sync, broker connections, live market APIs, ad SDKs, or third-party analytics SDKs.
Data Sharing
Financial data is not sent outside the app unless the user starts a CSV or PDF export. When the share sheet opens, the user chooses which app or service to share with.
Biometric Authentication
Face ID or Touch ID is handled through Apple's LocalAuthentication framework. Cashora Budget Tracking does not see, store, or share biometric data with third parties.
Data Deletion
The "Delete All Data" option in Settings can delete transactions, investment assets, custom categories, and related local preferences. This action cannot be undone.
No Financial Advice
Cashora Budget Tracking does not provide financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, brokerage services, or buy/sell recommendations. Summaries and insights in the app are calculated only from the user's manual records.
